Upper Dart 3rd Feb - 5th Feb 2012

Post by Paul French »

Dear All

I am looking to organise an Upper Dart trip 3rd Feb - 5th Feb 2012. The opportunity will be taken to incorporate for development / training session for those paddlers on the cusp of paddling GIV. If you need advice regarding your suitability please discuss with Ade.

Depending upon the numbers it may be possible to have two groups one running the river the other taking a more structured approach. I am not anticipating large numbers but need early expressions of interest in order to facilitate booking accommodation by the 4th January.

Later in March we are also looking to put on a another GIII/IV trip location to be decided.

Yours

Paul

Dear All
I am pleased to advise you that the following have expressed an interest in this trip
Ade
Paul F
Jim Lamb
Phil Lowers
Liz Meaney
Tim Young
Giles Brunning

I have therefore booked a room at the Plume of Feathers on 3rd and 4th February. For accommodation only the cost would be of the order of £30 per person (assumes 8 paddlers) plus breakfast and an evening meal. Payment of the £30.00 secures a place on the trip. Can you let me know preferences for breakfast and evening meal either in the pub or self catering.
Yours

Happy to cater for all 8 of us if that would help, but will go with the flow on this.

Perhaps having a prepared breakfast will enable us to get an earlier start, but self catering for the evening meal would save more money.

Dear All

I need to confirm numbers. If you want to join this trip I will need £30.00 desposit by 8th January (returnable only if the trip is cancelled). The cost will be £30 plus the cost of meals if we get eight people.

After 8th January I look for other paddlers to fill the bunkhouse.
