scotland 5-8 november

Post by Brian »

hi
phil and i are looking for two experienced paddlers for a bit of scotland fun
the plan is to leave early friday the 5th ( look at and possibly run the falls of fallock on the way though ) then wild camp up near the etive. paddle as many rivers as possible saturday and sunday and then drive back monday .
we will take food with us to keep the cost down as low as possible
i am guessing with 4 of us in the van it should not cost more than 80 or 90 pounds each for food petrol teas coffee etc. beer money will be extra.
i will wait with baited breath for the mad rush of replies to this post ;)   ;)

That sounds like a brilliant little trip I have to say.
Sorry I didn't get back to you before Brian but annoyingly I'm working both days of that weekend.
Have a good trip though guys.

Do you have a plan to do shuttles?
If it's using a bicycle, try and drag Fred West out of retirement and persuade him to go cos he loves doing bike shuttles on Scottish rivers while wearing a wetsuit.
Oh yes indeedy.... :D
