Set off from WBB on a warm but overcast day.

Kathleen and Chris discuss the prospects..

..onwards to Albert Bridge.

Past what must be the noisiest part of the Thames, Battersea Heliport.

Harrod's Village at Barnes...

...and under Hammersmith Bridge.

Passing the Boat Race Finishing Post at Chiswick Bridge.

..and heading to Kew Railway Bridge.

Finally, three hours and 10.22 miles from setting off we reach Kew Bridge.

Had lunch and watched the tide turn and set off passing Oliver's Island towards Kew Railway Bridge.

For the return trip, The Sun decided to emerge.

Had The Best Seats in The House for rowing races at Putney.

Eventually arrived back at WWB after a 20.44 mile paddle.
All tired but happy after a good well organised paddle and thanks are due to Adam and his team.

Yes Tim it was a really good day although I didn't expect the 20 miles. That was a bit of a shock and my fingers haven't yet recovered so no piano playing for a while.....
