London Youth Games 2017

The kayak sprint and slalom events for the London Youth Games will be held on Saturday 3rd June 2017 at the London Regatta Centre.

In the Slalom the team consists of 4 people,
Senior Male, Senior Female, (Year 12 and under) and Junior Male and Junior Female (Year 9 and under).

For the Kayak Sprint the team consists of 6 people in the following Classes:
200m Lightning Male (K1), Year 7 & Under
200m Cirrus Junior Male (K1), Year 10 & Under
200m Cirrus Senior Male (K1), Year 12 & Under
200m Lightning Female (K1), Year 7 & Under
200m Cirrus Junior Female (K1), Year 10 & Under
200m Cirrus Senior Female (K1), Year 12 & Under

To qualify for the team representing Bexley London Borough you must live in the borough of Bexley or go to school in the borough.

For those interested in taking part in the London Youth games this year I am planning to start the training sessions on Sunday 2nd April.
Times for the Sunday and Saturday sessions will be 10:30 hrs to 12:30 hrs.
Training session dates:
Sunday 2nd April
Sunday 9th April
Sunday 16th April
Thursday 20th April – From 5pm, date to be confirmed.
Saturday 29th April

Hi Malcolm

We can't do the Youth Games but Amelia and possibly Aine are interested in doing the Lightning race at the 1066 Hastings race at Tonbridge on the 21 May. I might enter Div 9 as well! Will be down at the lake on the 29th.
