Andy and I are planning a Thames Trip on Sunday 24th April.
It will be from The Queen's Steps, Park Row, Greenwich SE10 9NW to either Westminster Boating Base (WBB), Grosvenor Road, SW1V 3JY or St Mary's Church Slipway, Battersea Church Road, SW11 3NA
This is a tidal trip of either 7.63 miles land miles (WBB) or 10.06 miles (Battersea); the final destination will be decided either whether we have access to WBB and or the experience of the group.
The tide will be with us throughout the trip.
Paddlers should be of a 2* standard or working towards this award.

Timetable.
Meet at boathouse at 08.30 to load boats and equipment.
Leave by 09.00.
Arrive at Park Row, Greenwich and unload.
Drivers (max 5) for shuttle leave by 9.30.
Arrive at either Westminster Boating Base, Grosvenor Road, SW1V 3JY or St Mary's Church Slipway, Battersea Church Road, SW11 3NA and park by 10.30.
I will then take the 5 drivers back to Greenwich, park and we launch by 11.30.

Tides.
LW Greenwich Pier 10.03
Launch 11.30
HW Chelsea bridge 16.55.

If you would like more information, speak to either Andy at the pool, myself at the lake or post your questions here.

Guys ,

Watch this space for a date change , our original proposal was perfect for tides BUT we forgot about the London Marathon which would make logistics around Greenwich totally impossible. We will let you know the new date asap.

Due to the marathon taking place on 24th April, Andy and I have agreed to move the trip to Sunday 8th May with most of the timings remaining the same.

Hi Tim,
Sorry I can't do the 8th May any more as I had a change of plan for that day since I've talked to you: I have family to drive back to Ashford then.
I hope I will be able to do it next time.

Hi. I am interested in going on this trip. WBB should be open on this day. Do you want me to send my contact details, etc to an email address?

With this trip just two weeks away, I would like to know who is definitely coming.
So far it's just Andy and myself.
Let us know if you would like to join us so we can plan transport.

I would like to attend this trip.

I have a message from Sharon and her sister Chris, who also want to attend the Thames trip. Chris has attended previous trips so would hope to be accepted. Sharon has a problem with getting logged into this new and wonderful web site - hence this message. 8-)
