Barle Trip: 16/17/18 October

Post by andy g »

Barle Trip 16, 17 & 18 October at Dulverton Exmoor.

If you are interested please see Andy Garlick, Tony Holloway or Di Wade. Cost £30 includes accommodation in the Barn, and evening meal Saturday night. Please pay £30 to book your place.

We normally paddle the Barle or the Exe, or go surfing at Woolacombe if there is insufficient water in the rivers.

Beginners with some moving water experience welcome. First come first served.

Great Fizz

We also have Szymon and Ania coming.

Any more for this excellent and very cheap trip to a lovely part of Exmoor.

Good news Jules,

I know you have done a lot of sea kayaking, so surfing would be no problem for you.

Have you done any of Tony's trips to Yalding to practice in the weir?

Teresa and I are planning to come on this trip, although Teresa won't be paddling.

Thanks to all the experienced hands who organised this trip, and made the kids feel welcome. Your efforts are appreciated.

Sorry, I seem to have taken fewer pictures than normal on this trip. If anyone else took some on the day I would love to see / share them.

I enjoyed the trip too, so thanks to all for being persuaded into it, for the transport, the chefs and the jolly bunk house experience!
