The Great London Swim which is the closest event to us , still has spaces for 5 safety kayakers.
This is a chance to use our skills to protect the open water swimmers, and to earn £100 for a day's work into the bargain.
This year Di Wade , and JJ are joining me, but I am happy to show others the ropes.
You need to be at least 2* standard, and have a suitable boat (ie: no playboats) , the Swim Event Safety Award (SESA) is a big advantage but not essential.
