River Medway Cleanup

Some of us helped out on the last Medway cleanup a couple of years ago.
There is now another one scheduled for May 9th , details from the WAM FB page. We don't normally paddle down as far as East Farleigh and Hampstead, so if you haven't done that part of the river , here is a chance to combine a new paddle with a really useful piece of work to benefit all river users.
River Medway Litter Pick
On Saturday 9th May there will be a litter pick on the Medway. Motor boat clubs are also joining in to help out. The litter pick will be concentrated between Hampstead Lock and East Farleigh Lock this year. If you and your club or group are able to help out please let me know. We can provide gloves, bin bags and litter pickers – we just need lots of people in canoes!
