Seapoint Canoe Centre are organising a trip from Queenborough to the WW1 U-Boat (more at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... ntury.html) on the north side at Stoke Creek.
This is a 12 mile trip and will involve some paddling against the tide.
It is also weather dependant; strong winds or heavy rain might mean the trip will be postponed.
Paddlers should be of a 2* standard and have experience of tidal paddling (eg Thames) and paddling a sea kayak.
We will use Seapoint's sea kayaks, paddles, stray decks and buoyancy aids and the cost is £40 although if you are a member of Seapoint and or use your own sea kayak (not river kayak) you receive a discount.
I would like to book places on this trip as soon as possible as it is popular.
So far, Julia, Kathryn, Gay and myself are interested.
If you would like any more information, please contact me.
