Well that was a really good trip.
Despite low water levels we made the best of what was available.
A late Friday paddle on the Aberbran to Brecon section , not much in the way of thrills but an enjoyable warm up.
Saturday was a nice scenic paddle on the Afon Twyi from Rhandythimnon to Dolathirion, through some beautiful gorge and just enough features to keep us on our toes.
A lovely roast meal on Saturday evening was cooked by June, and enthusiastically consumed by all, with gusto.
With no rain to help Sunday's paddle was pretty restricted in choice. We opted for the Usk between Talybont but extended the run to go past Llangynidr almost into Crickhowell. It was a new section for a few.
Nice to see Polly joining us for her first whitewater trip, and Ada returning to help with River leadership again.
A really good time with a lovely well-appointed bunkhouse, it would be nice to see more members coming and trying out whitewater trips.
