Sea Kayaking Try Day at Hythe.

Julia and I are organising a sea kayaking try-day at Seapoint
http://seapointcanoeandkayakcentre.co.uk/
at Hythe, Kent on Sunday 17th August.
The cost is £40 (£20 non returnable deposit).
Seapoint will supply the kayaks, spray decks, and paddles.
You must bring a cag, change of clothes etc.
Seapoint can accommodate a party of 6 and so far we
have 4; Gary, Alex, Julia and myself.
If you would like more information or would like to join us, please let me know.
You should have experience of paddling on moving water.

Unfortunately this trip has been postponed due to gale force 5-7 winds coming in from the Atlantic.
An alternative date has been set for Tuesday 26th August.
If you would like to join us, let me know.

That's fine, you are now on the list for 14th September. We'll have to be in touch to sort out transport, as we shall need to take two vehicles. Maybe see you at the lake on Saturday or do post a message here Tim or myself will be in touch via email.

Timetable for Sunday's Trip.
Meet at boathouse at 8 for 8.15 departure.
Arrive at Seapoint Centre at 9.30.
The session is from 10.00 to 15.00.
Bring:-
£20 balance for course fee.
Steve and Pete, if you haven't paid a £20 deposit, please bring the full amount of £40.
Cag (essential).
Paddling clothes and footwear.
If you wear (sun) glasses a strap so you don't loose them in the water.
Sunscreen lotion - I will bring mine.
Change of clothing.
Towel.
Packed lunch and drink.
Anything else you can think of.
Steve, can you contact either me via the forum or Julia to confirm for Sunday?
