Julia and I are organising a sea kayaking try-day at Seapoint

at Hythe, Kent on Sunday 17th August.
The cost is £40 (£20 non returnable deposit).
Seapoint will supply the kayaks, spray decks, and paddles.
You must bring a cag, change of clothes etc.
Seapoint can accommodate a party of 6 and so far we
have 4; Gary, Alex, Julia and myself.
If you would like more information or would like to join us, please let me know.
You should have experience of paddling on moving water.

Unfortunately this trip has been postponed due to gale force 5-7 winds coming in from the Atlantic.
An alternative date has been set for Tuesday 26th August.

That's fine, you are now on the list for 14th September. We'll have to be in touch to sort out transport, as we shall need to take two vehicles. Maybe see you at the lake on Saturday or do post a message here Tim or myself will be in touch via email.

Paddling clothes and footwear.
If you wear (sun) glasses a strap so you don't loose them in the water.
Sunscreen lotion - I will bring mine.
Change of clothing.
Towel.
Packed lunch and drink.
Anything else you can think of.
