I'd rather do Sunday too, for the same reason.

I'm nominating Fat Tim to confirm Olympic switch-on times.

While I obviously can't claim to be either Tim or fat, it would appear that the times LV are advertising as available to paddle on the Olympic course this weekend are:
Saturday: 11.00, 12.00, 1.00, 2.00, 4.00
Sunday: 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 16.00
It seems they're back to a full-ish weekend programme and that they're not taking bookings for 3.00pm. This seems rather odd as traditionally that 3.00pm slot is kept raft-free so its available exclusively for kayak use so I would guess perhaps:
1/ The times have been copied straight from their rafting times and whoever did it didn't know/notice the paddling times are different (the 3.00pm slot)
2/ Someone has booked the course out for exclusive use both days at that time. Anyone want to ring them and check? :-)

D'oh -- I see we were sorting it out at the same time :-)
I guess they told you those times over the phone? Typical that it's different to what their website says :-/

It's worth remembering when working out times that they usually switch the legacy off at 3.00 and that most of the people going this Sunday aren't able to go on the olympic course so if you go on for the 3.00 - 4.00 slot any one with you who can't go on the olympic will be twiddling their thumbs.

hi
Its all very strange ???
I rang them before i put up the post and they told me the legacy was open 12 till 3 ( as in the latest slot for the legacy is 2-3 ) and that the olympic would be kayak only from 3 till 4 thats why i put up the suggested times
i am but a dumb train driver ;)
if some one could check out the times that would be fab

I phoned and got the recorded message but its dated some time in January when the centre was in semi close-down and there was no rafting on.
I'll try and get a real life person tomorrow.
Certainly the legacy is open from at least 10.00 til 3.00 as I'm booked in for 5 hours of assessing both days this weekend.
