Hi Paul,

I'm interested in coming along to this. I should be at the pool on Wednesday to confirm this with you/sort payment.

Thanks,
Sam

Dear All

Just to let you know I have confirmed the booking for Cumbria 6th - 8th Feb 2009. We have 16 participants which fills the bunkhouse - at a push up to two more people may join us but will need to sleep on lilo on the floor. I have attached trip details and a contact form. What I need you to do by the 29th January is

a. Let me know dietary requirements
b. Confirm whether you will be dining with us or making your own arrangements for Saturday night
c. Let me know travel arrangments

Any other questions or info please let me know.

Yours

Paul

Paul
I can either provide transport for 3 passengers and boats , or would willingly accept a lift .
I can leave at about 18.00 earliest from the SE London area, unless I take holiday.
Completed form coming back to you with a PM
Regards
Andy

Hi Paul,

I think the following goes for Brian, Phil and myself (they can correct me if I'm wrong):

a) No dietry requirements
b) We'd like to eat with everyone on the Saturday
c) We're leaving London on Friday morning

Is eveyone still on for this trip, even with all the snow?

"A publican who got stuck in snowdrifts after trying to leave her pub has spoken of her relief after being rescued. "

Lets just not leave a pub...

O no poor ducks :o . Stuck out side in the cold with no protection  .
And i know some people may want a nice big family car, but isnt a snowmobile a bit extreme  .

Thanks for running the trip. It was unexpected for me to be going but a delight to paddle a new bit of river, thanks also to June for dinner & cakes, hope the bruises aren't too bad and in my case to Malc for doing the driving.

Paul
I would like to second Ada's message. Despite the unpromising water conditions those that chose got 3 paddles , one of which (Leven from Newby Bridge to Haverthwaite) was an absolute classic and a total delight. An excellent bunkhouse , good food and good company. Many thanks
