All Please be aware for the Cam trip the trip is a there and back trip and there are two portages the 1st is a lock and the second is a concrete ramp which acts as a pass for the punts. this is not like the medway canoe passes and you will need to carry your boats around the features. I am concerned that this is not being considered when individuals are requesting their kayaks.

The trip is only 6 miles in totals.

Please also note their is a beginners course scheduled for the same weekend and that will take priority regarding any kayaks required hence you may need to make an alternative selection. Can you check with me that the kayaks aren't required for the beginners course on I will have met all of the candidates on the 16th June which is the 1st saturday of the course .

This note should not discourage you from going on the CAM trip.....
