Re: Lee Valley 25th May Equipment Bookings

Folks, just to let you know that due to unforeseen circumstances, we've had to move the club booking of the Legacy course to Saturday 25th May from 3-5pm. A new E-Alert will be sent in due course. That's a pain -- on the 26th I'm working at LV and finish at 3.00. I'd happily have helped out, lead, ...

Re: lee valley this sunday 12th May

I'd love to join you for a paddle but I'm coaching on the Mudway this Sunday.
Next time though.

Re: So its official " we must now be in a recession "

I should add I'm more than happy to offer my own services if required as an assessor, coach, whatever :-)

Re: So its official " we must now be in a recession "

I noticed that item 3 suggested that once a paddler had passed his/her assessment and became a lee valley card holder they would be less willing to support a club exclusive trip to the legacy course because "why would they go to a club session at £10/- when they can go for £5/-." Leaving to one sid...

I couldn't even begin to guess Brian.... :-)
You guys should have stuck around -- the raft-free hour on the Olympic was excellent: multiple runs and only 9 of us on the course. Fantastic!
And I kept my head dry......

Re: Lee Valley Sunday 17th March

The word on the grapevine is that Hannah and Jack have pulled out now leaving Tom unable to get there.
Pathetic all round really :-)
See the rest of you tomorrow.

Re: Lee Valley Sunday 17th March

I phoned and got the recorded message but its dated some time in January when the centre was in semi close-down and there was no rafting on. I'll try and get a real life person tomorrow. Certainly the legacy is open from at least 10.00 til 3.00 as I'm booked in for 5 hours of assessing both days thi...

Re: Lee Valley Sunday 17th March

It's worth remembering when working out times that they usually switch the legacy off at 3.00 and that most of the people going this Sunday aren't able to go on the olympic course so if you go on for the 3.00 - 4.00 slot any one with you who can't go on the olympic will be twiddling their thumbs. Re: Lee Valley Sunday 17th March

D'oh -- I see we were sorting it out at the same time :-)
I guess they told you those times over the phone? Typical that it's different to what their website says :-/
