Re: Lee Valley Sunday 17th March

I'd rather do Sunday too, for the same reason. I'm nominating Fat Tim to confirm Olympic switch-on times. While I obviously can't claim to be either Tim or fat, it would appear that the times LV are advertising as available to paddle on the Olympic course this weekend are: Saturday: 11.00, 12.00, 1...

Re: Lee Valley Sunday 17th March

I believe Tom, Hannah and Jack are planning to paddle then too.
If I can I'll join you all for quick swim, I mean paddle.... :-)

Re: lee valley Saturday 9th March

Typical -- last minute change of plans for me I'm afraid but I'm there if anyone's up for a paddle tomorrow all day?

Re: Lee Valley This sunday 24th Feb

How about a few more paddlers coming, £5 per hour for white water in London is hardly excessive, and we will look after you on the water. Andy Well -- as long as you promise to look after me :-) Yesterday was great too -- legacy course pretty empty (of water as well as paddlers -- they turned it of...

Re: Lee Valley This sunday 24th Feb

It's worth mentioning that a couple of weeks ago every session sold out so booking in advance isn't a bad idea.
Obviously there are more slots available this weekend than then but (I believe) HPP has the NSR on this weekend so isn't open for general paddling and there's no water in any rivers.

Re: Lee Valley This sunday 24th Feb

Remember -- from this weekend it's back to both courses open for a good chunk / most of the day.
I'm there this Saturday but Sunday is Tom's 2nd birthday so I'll be blowing up balloons and eating cake :-)
Have fun :-)

Re: Lee Valley This sunday 24th Feb

Yeah -- currently the legacy opens 10.00 or 11.00 til 2.00 then just one hour (2.00 til 3.00) on the Olympic -- but it's a raft- free hour :-) All academic now as from next Saturday rafting's back on so the whole place reverts to summer-ish hours. Bri -- you should have come today. A good hour on th...
