If you visit the River Medway website (http://www.allingtonlock.co.uk/) you might be aware that there is a newly published leaflet which is a canoeists guide to the river. Not only does it contain all the relevant information for trip organisers and river leaders it would help anybody who intends to paddle there, to get the best out of our "local" river.
It is a double sided waterproof leaflet which can be used whilst boating, or to aid planning a trip. Highly recommended.
To obtain it either follow the links on the website or send an email to Michelle.waterman@environment-agency.gov.uk and specify "Canoe Trail Guide" in the title of your email.
Mine arrived within 2 days, and everyone who saw it yesterday was impressed with it.
