River Cuckmere Sunday 28th October 2018

I am planning a trip on the River Cuckmere on Sunday 28th October.
Please note this is the Sunday after the clocks have gone back to GMT.
Timetable is as follows.
Meet at boathouse at 8:00 to load boats
Leave by 8:30
Drive the 66 miles (A21) or 80 miles (M25/M23) depending on route taken to Seven Sisters Country Park Car Park, East Dean Road (A259), Exceat, Nr Seaford, BN25 4AD to arrive by 10:00.
Parking fee is £4 for full day, please bring exact coins.
Toilets are across road.
Launch by 10:30
Paddle the 5 miles with tide to Alfriston weir arriving about 13:00
Eat packed lunch whilst tide changes.
14:00 launch and return to Exceat by 16:00
Leave by 16:30.
Return to boathouse by 18:30.
Tides for day at Cuckmere Haven.

This is a joint trip with our friends from Maidstone and Bewl Water Canoe Clubs.
