FSRT Training

We are organising a Foundation Safety and Rescue Training (FSRT) course for Meridian paddlers. This is a full day of training (08:30 to 17:30 approx.) and will take place at Southmere Boating Lake SE2 9TU.

Participants need to be 16+, of a confidant 2* standard (though not necessarily holding the 2* award) and must be willing to take part in all sections of the course to gain their certificate. The course will run on the 20th OR 21st August 2016, whichever is most convenient for the majority of participants, please express your interest and availability via email to membership@meridiancanoeclub.com or via text (including your full name) to 07525 166465.

There are 12 spaces available for this training, the course fee is;

£30 BCU Members

£35 non BCU Members

Full payment is required at the time of booking your place.

Sunday 21st August has received the majority of support.

The numbers are sufficient to run the course, and 6 places remain available for members to join.

This course uses external facilities, so will NOT run if you do not pay in advance.

I will be at the pool early session / general session tomorrow (Wednesday 10th) and at the lake Saturday morning (13th.) If you have signed up for this course and not already paid, it is essential that you get to one of these sessions and hand me your course fees.
