Medway paddle on Sunday 15th Feb at Tonbridge

On Sunday (15th) some of us are going for a paddle on the Medway around the island at Tonbridge. Everyone is welcome! We will be starting and finishing at the same spot, and staying on the water for as long as we’re having fun … which will probably depend on the weather.

We are meeting at 11am in the Lower Castle Field Car Park. This is the one next to the miniature railway beside the swimming pool.

Travelling south on the A227 drive into the centre of Tonbridge until you are in the High Street. Just before the bridge over the river, turn right into Castle Street. (This is a narrow one-way street signposted to the castle, tourist information and the swimming pool. It’s the turning after Bank St). At the end of Castle Street turn left into The Slade and follow this round to the left in front of Slade Primary School. The car park is straight ahead with the miniature railway and swimming pool on your left and a rugby club on your right. Access to the river is at the far end of the car park. NB There is a height limit of 2m for the car park so you may need to unload boats before entering.

I would love to come , but after the Lakes last weekend , Top Club with Andy Gray this weekend , and the Dart next next weekend I feel I have to give it a miss , sorry.
