Oh yes ......Saturday everything was going off....

Sunday, amazingly it all dropped off, lapping the top of the slab (lowest part) bundles of people around, Rainsley et al managed the triple crown, i can't say i was brave enough to get on the Pym though....... :o

West Dart/Erme.....we see a cow stuck up a tree, all twisted, must of died over night, washed in the river during the heavy rain......got in at the 2 bridges so it was a loooong paddle.....still a bloody good run though, wide and fast :P

All dropped Sunday though, enough for a run of the Upper.

We'll have to hook up for an Xmas paddle

Hell yeah.
That sounds like some good paddling there though. I like the West Dart from Two Bridges although it is a long way. Foolishly I believed the guidebook on it so was quite surprised to come round a corner and find myself running a rapid that must drop about 15 feet in height over about the same in distance in a stretch I was lead to believe was "flat".
Marvelous!!
:) :) :)
