Dear All
Please let me know if you are interested in a trip to Cumbria 6th - 8th February 2009.
Experience of GIII is optimum.
At the moment I have possible accomodation between £15.00 - £18.95 (worst case) per night at Coniston or Keswick. My plan is to book the cheaper one week commencing 24th November. So to secure a place let me know by the 23rd November you're interested with a £15.00 (none returnable desposit).
My contact details are pfjfrf@aol.com or 01233 610143
A word of warning if we go to Keswick it is a bit further north than last year so bear that in mind when making travelling arrangements.
Yours
Paul

Dear All
Following discussion last weekend I can firm up details for this trip. I have booked accomodation at the Ship Inn 1691. The bunkhouse is very nice, warm, well decorated ... and attached to a pub.
The Ship Inn,
Askewgate Brow,
Kirkby-in- Furness,
Cumbria. LA17 7TE
http://www.theship1691.co.uk/index.htm
The plan is bunk house dorm and breakfast at £19 pppn (£13 bed and £6 full breakfast). June, Di and Irene have kindly offered to do the evening meal on the Saturday. There is a £30 fee for use of the pub kitchen the bunkhouse only has tea and coffee facilities plus a micro wave. Bottomline £41 per person plus the cost of the evening meal on Saturday. Full payment not later than 14th January to secure a place.
Rivers - dependent upon water levels but looking to the Crake (G2/3), Duddon (G3 and easy G4), Lune (G3 and easy and portageable G4) and Leven G3 and G4 .

You may be to travel with me . I don't get back from work until at 19.30 these days so laving at about 21.00 could be OK for me.
Paul , I thought we were going to the northern lakes , this looks like the south again? Or have aI misunderstood things (as usual!)
Regards

Hi Andy
Slight change - south again. But a bit closer to some rivers. Looking to doing the Lune this time.

I would like to join you for the not too scarey bits. I can travel during the day on the Friday, and will travel with anyone who offers.

Dear All
Firstly have a great Christmas and New Year just in case I don't see you.
There has been quite a lot of interest in the trip to Cumbria 6th Feb - 8th Feb.
I have been in contact with the bunkhouse and have provisionally booked the whole bunkhouse (16) we can also put up some air beds.
I need to confirm numbers and booking on Sunday 11th January - I will be at pool session on Wednesday 7th and at the lake on Saturday 3rd.
You need to confirm attendance and make arrangements for payment by these dates (sorry to sound so formal)

See you then
