As you have probably already guessed the pool sesions on the Thursdays 24th and 31st of December have been canceled, however the Wednesday sessions will be going ahead as usual.
Paddling at Danson Park during the Winter period (From Bexley Council):
Further to the various emails that have been generated last week concerning when it is safe to go onto the lake. I think I should clarify the position if there is ice on the lake then no-one should be venturing onto it. This morning in freezing conditions there were canoeists out on the lake who we advised to come in as the temperature was very low , we were also in the process of breaking ice and we had received a severe weather warning for more adverse weather , now whilst I can appreciate that they were not in possession of the last fact the first 2 should have been sufficient.
